The village hall committee meets once a month, usually on the first Monday of the month at the village hall. Agendas and minutes are published on the website. Members of the public are most welcome to attend.
Below is the opening statement of the 1951 Trust Document, when the village hall was gifted to the Parish.
The trust premises shall be held upon trust for the purpose of physical and mental training and recreation and social, moral and intellectual development through the medium of reading and recreation rooms, library, lecture classes, recreations and entertainments or otherwise as may seem expedient for the benefits of the inhabitants of the Parish of Hazelbury Bryan in the County of Dorset and its immediate vicinity without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions subject to the provisions of these presents.
Whilst not all the activities mentioned above might be what actually takes place in the hall the intention of providing a space for activities that will benefit the residents of Hazelbury Bryan remains the same.
