This year's winter floods blocked roads across the county but were followed by no less than five extreme heatwaves in rapid succession that resulted in a drought that left our land baked dry and our farmers struggling. The forecast for next year is even hotter.

What's happening to our weather?
What's causing it?
What can we do about it?

On Friday, 23 October 2026 in the Village Hall there will be a screening of the Peoples Emergency Briefing, with the latest science & facts on biodiversity loss and the changing climate, and how it is now affecting our health, our food security, our economy and even our national security.
Join in the discussion afterwards as we examine what it means for us all, and most importantly what we can do about it.

Doors open 6.30pm, the film starts at 7pm and lasts 50mins.  Everyone over the age of 16 is welcome.

Tickets are free but numbers are limited, so book now to reserve a place:
