The Parish Council is working urgently with Wessex Water in an attempt to limit the time the road to King Stag is closed. Whilst the replacement of the water main will benefit us all in the long run, be assured we are doing all we can to limit the disruption to residents and businesses in Hazelbury.
Equally we are also making representations to Wessex Water about ways of negating the impact the road works are having on the Red Barn Village Shop.
Its important we all continue to support Darren and Tara, a village shop is a real asset, so if you are not a regular please drop in and show your support. In order to serve the important passing trade the Parish Council has agreed that the Sports Pavillion on Alec’s Field can be used as a Pop Up Shop in the short term.
