URGENT TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PARKGATE, HAZELBURY BRYAN
DORSET COUNCIL has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Parkgate, Hazelbury Bryan from junction with Thickthorn Lane to the junction with C34 (in both directions), a distance of approximately 480 metres. The Notice is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 7th July 2025 and remain in force for five days, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 9th July 2025.
This Notice will enable Wessex Water safe access to repair a water leak.
The alternative route, which will be sign posted is as follows: Marsh Lane, C100, C20, A357, C32, C139, C49, C34 and vice versa. You can check out the map here.
