The Parish Council have been in constant touch with Wessex Water throughout the week, but regrettably their position is unchanged and the road closure will remain as it is at present. Consequently we have asked for an urgent site meeting with Dorset Highways to discuss the situation.
I would ask that people keep cool heads and be assured we are doing all we can to bring a resolution to this situation so the necessary water main replacement work can be completed with the minimum of disruption to residents, businesses and motorists.
