TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE CAUSEWAY, HAZELBURY BRYAN
DORSET COUNCIL has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along The Causeway, Hazelbury Bryan from the junction with Partway Lane to outside Red Barn, The Causeway (in both directions), a distance of approximately 830 metres. The Notice is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation between 09:30 until 15:30 on 3 October 2024 and remain in force for five days, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 3 October 2024.
This Notice will provide Openreach with a safe working area to replace a telegraph pole.
The alternative route, which will be sign posted is as follows: C34, B3143, A3030, A357, C20 and vice versa. You can see the map here.
