TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF MARSH LANE, HAZELBURY BRYAN
DORSET COUNCIL has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Marsh Lane, Hazelbury Bryan from junction with Churchfoot Lane to a point 500 metres to the southeast of Thickthorn Lane (in both directions), a distance of approximately 1370 metres. The Notice is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 22nd July 2024 and remain in force for five days, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 26th July 2024.
This Notice will enable Wessex Internet with a safe working area to install fibre cabling.
The alternative route, which will be sign posted is as follows: C100, C20, A357, C32, C100 and vice versa. You can check out the map here.
