"Thank you again for your continued support with the Local Plan consultation.
We’ve seen a very high level of interest from residents, which is encouraging and reflects the importance of the issues being discussed. Due to the volume of responses, in the last few days the online consultation platform has been slower than usual and some people are experiencing difficulties submitting their responses.
To ensure no one is prevented from having their say, we’re directing people to alternative ways to respond, including by email to: planningpolicyconsult@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk or in other formats, which can be found here.
We’ve always had these routes available so there’s no change but we’re highlighting them due to problems with the online survey. While the online consultation will close at midnight on 13 October, we will continue to accept email responses until 31 October.
This does not affect any deadline that has previously been agreed with parish and town councils. Please do continue to encourage residents to use the online platform where possible up until 13 October.
