The Hazelbury Bryan Parish Council has been working very closely with all those involved with the road closure in Hazelbury Bryan, Wessex Water, Dorset Highways Department and Tara and Darren at the Red Barn. Our aim has always been to work with Wessex Water to minimise the disruption the road works are causing villagers, motorists and indeed all effected businesses.
Ideally, we would have liked the closure to be restricted to set times during the week, however this has not been possible and for the safety reasons the road closure remains in place. Wessex Water are getting on with renewing the watermain as quickly as they possibly can but in the meantime when it is safe to do so they are allowing access along the road to and from King Stag. Unless you are accessing the shop or indeed other businesses or properties along the road please wherever possible use the diversion.
