The Council is planning to have most services running as normal on Wednesday 30 November. However, it is possible that some teams will have a reduced presence depending on individual personal circumstances relating to child care issues if local schools are closed.

 

The Stour Valley Partnership is expecting to conduct business as usual, collecting revenues and administering Benefits claims .

 


 

The Dorset Waste Partnership expects some refuse collection personnel will be on strike but householders with a normal Wednesday collection should put their materials out in the morning as usual. If the materials are not collected by the end of the day they should be taken back in as there will not be any catch-up collections before the next scheduled pick-up.

 

Blandford Leisure Centre and the RiversMeet Community Centre in Gillingham will be open as usual.

 

The Council apologises in advance for any inconvenience that may be caused by the industrial action.
